Icesave/Natwest Isa transfer

Hi,

I am confused.

Recently i applied to transfer my Icesave ISA to a Natwest ISA which was a week or two before the deadline and now have received a letter back stating that i have now missed the 2008/09 deadline.

Although i sent it in good time i thought the deadline for Icesave transfers had been extended??

You obviously need to let Natwest know (print out the information on the above link) and insist that they are incorrect.

Dont bother with natwest! After more than a month of trying to set up e-isas to transfer our Icasave isas, our money (£39k) is still sitting in the natwest feeder account (at 0% interest), and no-one there will even discuss it with me! All I want to do is tell them the money is there to be transfered, but natwest staff are unable to action this. Instead, they have 'raised a query', which is to be dealt with in date order. They are taking 2-3 weeks to process one single days queries, and are currently actioning those from April 4th. Staff are not able to cope with the 55,000 applications and it's chaos. We have had misinformation, arrogance, rudeness, complete ineptitude from branch and helpline staff, and have now given up. The Icesave money will be going elsewhere!
