Mine....oh dear, isn't it strange to see your own kitchen posted on the site!

This is the smallest kitchen I have ever had yet the most efficient. The Indesit washer is nearly 30 years old can you believe? It has survived many, many house moves, has never broken down...only needed a new door seal once. (Oh dear, tempting fate saying that I think!)

I love all your hanging bits and bobs dorsetmiss, what a great space saver. And your display shelves are fab, they really make use of all the wall space. Lovely!!

OK - here's my kitchen at both ends - my washing basket doesn't usually live in the kitchen but my 3 yr old decided it would make a good hide-out . . .

ocemeer - I love your kitchen. And I would love a huge range cooker - but wouldn't be practical in my kitchen.

Actually - I'd love a big victorian house with an aga (and a modern oven too :D) We can all dream, can't we ...... wanders away day-dreaming.......

The kitchen was a dark green melanime when we moved in so we painted the units in a cream eggshell and replaced the worktops, handles, tiles and flooring. All done on a budget!
The Slowcooker, etc are in cupboards and yes I did tidy before I took the photos. ;)

What in interesting thread, I have just wizzed through all of the post ..... what lovely kitchens you all have. I will now be 'borrowing' some of the ideas.

Here's mine. We are renting here so the colour scheme i.e. stark white, isn't my choice and not my cup of tea. I've tried to make it a bit more homely with the bits we have collected on our travels.

I've been reading here for a few weeks now but have only just plucked up the courage to post.

We renovated our last house to raise some money to start a 'OS' life for our family. We used to live in a very nobby area where keeping up with the Jones was the done thing. It was starting to get to us so we decided to make the most of our one asset and then move away. We traded down to quite a minging house (nice now though) and we can afford for me to stay at home now. I feel very lucky.

This was what we did to our last kitchen. The estate agents said that it added a huge amount to the value of the house. I have to say that I found it quite a scary kitchen as you couldn't really have any homely clutter. Nevertheless, it did the trick. :j

Wow. Like others here, I wouldn't get on with a kitchen that immaculate (lol), but it is certainly very impressive. :T

Heres mine, tiny, but I like it! My dream is to have a kitchen big enough for a scrubbed pine table and an aga. :j

Adorable pawpurrs, I can see why you don't want to move!

Ah, this thread is a tonic for me today, I had no idea such loveliness even existed. I might even post a photo of my kitchen, although it is nowhere near what I would want in my own house when we eventually get around to buying!!!

My dresser I had made to go with the kitchen - the right hand side is a larder with the spice racks in the doors.

(The plastic is on the chairs' 'cos of the children's sticky mitts and the cat sitting on them............before someone comments :D;))
