Catznine, love your kitchen and your big cooker.I'd love a range cooker but not enough room.

Can I ask what make it is?It looks exactly like my Kenwood(except bigger),same switches etc.

I'm interested because I hate my mine - it is unbelievably noisy. The fan continues for an hour after you've switched the main oven off,and the top oven just burns everything except baked spuds. The burners seem to take forever to bring a pan of water to the boil.I've had it for 2 years now and really regret choosing it.And the handle keeps coming loose.

Blimey,I hope it isn't the same make, and you've only just bought it :o Sorry!

:rotfl:Yep it's a Kenwood and yes the fan is a bit noisy! but other than that no probs at all, I love it! It took some getting used to as I was burning a lot but then decided to turn down the temperature a bit until I got it right, just seems to be a more efficient cooker than my other one. I had to give up a bit of valuable cupboard space to make room for it although it is a 900 rather than a 1000. Also the microwave had to be put into a draw space or I would have had no worktop!

Thank you but actually it's painted cream!:D I think the pale terracotta (sp?) in the tiles and the floor reflect in the cream walls and give off a pinkish glow especially on a overcast day! But it does feel very warm and cosy that way. Actually it was pinkish - well natural plaster colour for quite a while until oh got around to painting it for me!;)

purpleprincess - I love your little flat - LOL at your kitchen (in a nice way :D) Moggins described it perfectly! I think I might be able to afford to buy a studio next year but am definitely going to be looking at the type with a proper separate kitchen! (I like those little square studios that have a "sleeping recess" so are almost like a compactly laid out 1 bedroom flat with bedroom, sitting room, kitchen and bathroom).

    And your dog is gorgeous...

I can't take all the credit for the kitchen ( just the clutter!) ~ it was already there when we bought the house, it definitely sold me on the house though :)
