    BrummieBabe,

My little boy when he saw your kitchen, I wish we could have that house mum, can we mum, can we!!!! Your kitchen is lovely, black tiles like Funky Fairy... .

Bless...he hasn't seen the rest of the house though!! It's very small!!! We have a small lounge (and it IS small!) and a hallway downstairs and the kitchen/diner - no dining room etc...I love it though!!!!!!

Funkyfairy - I thought you had great taste too!!! - they are very similar aren't they! The chairs are from Next (as is the table) You have greyish grout on the floor aswell - any tips remove stains/marks from the grout??

As for clutter - I did (obviously!) tidy before taking the picture ;) However, my SC is always kept in a cupboard anyway.

OOOHHH, Thanks for those pics Aussielass. It's funny how kitchens in different countries have a different look and feel. My sisters kitchen is the states is about the size of a family house in the Uk and has more falshing beeping things in it that a nuclear command post. LOL

I viewed your photos while singing the theme tune from Neighbours at full throttle to get the full experience.

Come on everyone join in. Don't say you don't know the words. LOL

Strewth Math, your such a bloody cheeky !!!!!! :D Did you see the Koala's up the tree down the back? I don't have many flashing beeping things in my kitchen. Not even a dishwasher. :p Loved your kitchen btw. So macho. ;)

Ruby pudding - How sweet the cat on top of the breadmaker. Is it on or still warm?

It was still warm - and it was a very, very cold day. She's not stupid :D

Can I just say how much I am loving this thread! My kitchen is tiny but it's the first house we've bought so I'm grateful we have one at all. I dislike almost everything about it but I've tried to make it homely and it does look very welcoming when it's all clean and tidy and there are lovely smells coming from the cooker and BM. But it's fantastic to see other Old Styler's kitchens - very inspirational. I must say I do aspire to have one like Sarahsavers but that'll be a few years off yet I think

Ok - so I had a bit of a tidy - usually there is a pile of junk on top of the microwave, but every so often I clear it. And yesterday was the perfect opportunity to do that. Also, I think the pics show that the DW was on - it's amazing how clear your kitchen can become when you can just bung all the pots in there.

My BM lives on top of the work surface but I have an under-stairs cupboard where my collection of SC's, veg rack, Kenwood Chef, etc live and I have a huge shelving unit in the garage that stores all those muli-buys and exta gadgets :D

    I've been Money Tipped!

i dropped it , i was so gutted. it was only a week old , and i'd been wanting one for about 6 months , we just didn't have the money. then when i did get it , look what i did.

I did the same with my new fridge freezer. On the old second hand one I had a big blob of blue tack on the corner of the door handle so that it wouldn't dent if it knocked the side of it as the door opens into the side of it. I had the second hand one for 4 years until it packed up, no dents with the blue tack trick. I had the new one installed and the guy was just driving away with the old one and the ironing board fell against the door and put a huge dent in the side of it. I was soooooooo annoyed with myself. Still bugs me seeing it, it had barely been in the house an hour. :-(

This is a cracking thread some of you have such nice kitchens, really like the dark tiled flooring, ours has laminate floor and it's horrible, always looks manky!
