oops.. thats me not reading it properly, I was just on another forum talking about fuel filters !Oil not fuel.
The oil filter will be attached somewhere to the cylinder block, probably the front (or left or right if rear wheel drive) and should be a very obvious cylindrical protrusion much like the spare you have to replace it with
