they cant leave feedback whilst the non paying bidder is on because they didnt respond, soolin is that correct? can they leave neg if you remove the strike? this isnt clear on ebays help pages.
It wont hurt to send it and if you send it and your buyers happy your less likely to get a neg0 -
This is simple, buyer didn't want item as they hadn't paid. The NPB dispute has gone through and buyer has a strike and can no longer leave feedback. The dispute is closed.
If seller accepts payment then they must now send item and remove the strike and buyer can then leave feedback..remembering they didn't want this item and are probably miffed at seller for giving them a strike, do you want that eprson leaving feedback, honestly?
If you leave strike in place after shipping goods buyer appeals and gets strike removed easily as payment was not refunded, so leave strike in and really tee off the buyer and then let him leave feedback, not looking so good is it?
Virtually every time I have reversed a strike and sent goods I have ended up with an item not received or item not as described claim..OK it happens rarely as for the past few years I have always refused to accept late payments, but it happens.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. You have received payment for the item, then why not send it out? There may be a reasonable explanation for the buyer not being in touch: holiday, computer breakdown, or just simply forgotten!!
Funny how they can forget a purchase for 2 1/2 weeks then suddenly remember it when they get a strike and can't leave any feedback for the seller that has annoyed them. They probably realised that with 2 strikes they can no longer bid on most sellers auctions and they suddenly got worried about how this might affect them in the future if they do it again, or if they already have another strike.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Thanks, Soolin, for those two posts. You have convinced me to refund the payment and move on. If buyer had offered some form of explanation for the delay then fair enough but it does seem clear that they have paid only because a strike has been issued. Thanks for the expert opinions!0

Don't forget if they do appeal the strike make sure you appeal it back.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Perhaps they bought another item, paid for this and without realising also for the OP's.0

I still reckon they saw the strike and panicked, or else they have a strike already and suddenly found themselves blocked from bidding.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
