I applied for the infamous 9 months 0% balance transfer in December. Got accepted, sent the credit form back signed along with a utility bill, as requested. Nothing. After telephoning constantly was told i needed to send a payslip in. Nothing. After phoning constantly again, was told that as I had moved jobs i needed to…

With HSBC, if you want a card with them, I recommend applying at a branch. Never apply online as it will take ages and be a major hassle. Also be careful if you query an application and they [claim to] have no record of it, as a credit search will most likely have been made, so any subsequent application will add another search to your credit report.
