Can anyone help please, my daughter sent a message to a friend on the 10th April and phone says its still sending, it won`t delete, it won`t clear and is stopping her from sending other messages as they won`t go thru until this one is sent.
Any ideas please how we can get rid of this message so she can start to use her phone again?
Many thanks

Try putting a different sim in, this sometimes deletes messages already on the phone, especially on older phones (Don't know what a E910i is).0

Hi
Phone was brand new in December. We don`t have another sim card. The card she has is sim only with orange (we bought the phone from orange)0 -
Katies Mum this was a known issue with this handset, the messages stay in the outbox and dont send or delete, take it take to the orange shop as it will need the software to be updated to rid it of the problem.
Or you could try a factory reset on the handset at home in the settings menu.0 -
Hi ssgtsnelly
thanks for the reply, I thinik I may remember reading this somewhere ages ago. When you mention taking it to the orange shop for software to be updated - who does this|? them, or is it something we have to buy?
If we did a factory reset at home will she loose all the stuff she has on her phone? such as pictures, numbers etc.
sorry to sound a little `thick` but I know nothing about phones (mine was £19 from Asda many moons ago)0 -

all you need is a fully charged battery and the data cable that came in the box with the phone.0 -
Thank you, our next door neighbour just told me about this, so had a go... did everything it told us and then it said the phone had the latest updates, we could carry on and re-do them again but would have to back everything up first, so as she doesn`t know how to back anything up we decided not to go any further whilst we find out how to back her stuff up (we really don`t have a clue as you have most probably gathered). I then asked her to try her phone and it had cleared!! So we are well pleased.
Can you help us with regard to backing up her pictures and numbers as we havn`t got a clue. We got a dongle thingie if thats what you call it with the phone..is this whats its for?
I am very grateful as always for any help and advice you can give me. Thanks0 -
I dont recommend doing the SEUS update service at home unless you have a internet add on for the phone as the network will charge you data rates for any updates you do. I had an issue with my SE K850 that said it had the latest software and it didnt, the network wont charge you to do it but might have to send it off to the engineers for it to be updated which might take a few days, ask if they have a loan phone you could borrow
PS when you do a factory reset it only resets the phone memory, so all tones will go back to default etc, but all music and pics etc should be stored on the memory card that came with the phone should they should all be safe, or use the SE software that came in the box for your pc to back it up
The dongle is for using internet access on your PC and acts as a modem, its internet access without the need for any wires or phone lines. very handy indeed.0 -

also, the dongle could be a bluetooth dongle0 -
OMG I was panicing then, imagined a massive phone bill!! seems to be working ok at the moment, so whatever I did got it unstuck. If it does it again I will take it back to the orange shop.
