need advice on semotherboard to buy

I'm looking at getting a new motherboard, to upgrade my old pc, i've installed parts before, but never a motherboard, so abit nervous about this part. I've found this motherboard

I'll be using the pc mainly for gaming, i love to play gothic 1/2/3 plus the upgrades, but current pc won't play any gothic games past 2, i also like to play football management games, but current pc is a little slow playing these game,

    ASUS P5QL + e5200 +cheap ddr2 800mhz memory - overclock to 3.5ghz

    as Spakker said its not just the motherboard you need to condider.
    Does your current proccessor fit the new motherboard what about the RAM and as mentioned the graphics card.

    What part of your system does not meet the specs for Gothic 3?

    i've a TINY computer ltd (yes i said a tiny),
    intel(r) pentium(R) 4 cpu 1.8ghz
    1.79ghz,1.08gb of ram

    i've no idea what oddball m/b mean's, not very into all the tec details of pc, i can build one sort off, put in a new fan, new hard drive, slaved both hard drive, new graphic cards, modems, memory,

    Have beent hinking off buying a new pc, but fram waht i've seen off other threads, everyone say's build it as its cheaper, so thought i'd see how much it would cost, to upgrade the base unit i've already got, getting new componants i need

    Hi , the m/board you chose initially is not a mainstream one -oddball!
    I don't think any games can use 4 cores 2-core seems as good for now.
    DDR2 800 (pc6400) is good enough and cheap - £10 a gb
    The oc blurb sounds like an ebay ad!
