How do I find my IF ISA account number?

Hello. I'm wanting to transfer out an Intelligent Finance ISA to Alliance & Leicester. To do this I need an account number, but how the hell do I find it?

I can't seem to locate it on the website and attempting to phone Intelligent Finance seems to be an utter joke (I'm simply not prepared to spend an hour waiting for the phone to be answered).

There is no other way but to phone them  . This is what I did. However, I recall others reporting that they successfully quoted just some internal IF number (pot number? - I already forgot how ther call it!) on the transfer form.

Sounds good, could anyone confirm that and which number it is?

It's your jar number that should be sufficient. That was all I used to transfer from IF to Halifax.

.Just took all the paperwork to Halifax and plopped it on the woman's desk.
Halifax lady was brilliant ................ sent all the bumph to IF .... but they were playing silly billies and first reckoned they had never had the form .....then they miraculously found it ......she told me she had had a lot of 'problems ' with IF of late !!
so be prepared ! Seems a lot of us are having the same idea !!

Sorry yes you are correct. The plan number was what I gave to the Halifax, the jar only has a name.

I put the plan number and jar name on the form.
