IMPORTANT! E2Save Refer-A-Friend links

In the interests of keeping the users of this forum fully informed, I'd be grateful if the moderators don't move this post simply because it contains the word "referral" as it contains an important public service message.
As E2Save now offer £40 per friend referred to them on a 3 contract, in the interests of honesty/clarity/MSE forum protocol, would those people who offer to split their E2Save refer-a-friend commission between the purchaser/charity/themselves please now update their text to appropriately specify what the split currently is.
May I suggest that those who have chosen to spread their offers across a number of forums in a scattergun approach now consider using the referral board as it was intended to be used, i.e. as a place to archive their original offer text, and just refer to it there in a non-specific way - That way, should E2Save change their commission structures again, there would only be ONE place where you need to update your offer details instead of the MANY that you will now have to chase up and amend as necessary.
BTW...for obvious reasons it would be useful if NO misleading offer text is left lying around so some of you may have a task on your hands hunting down all your recent posts appended to currently active threads.
If you have purchased a contract through one of these refer-a-friend links and are unsure of who now gets paid what, I suggests that you PM the person who's link you purchased your phone through for clarification. In particular, if you only decided to use a refer-a-friend link because the referrer claimed not to keep a penny for themselves, I would suggest confirming with the referrer that the additional £20 will also be donated to charity.
You know this makes sense.
thankyou,
RM

Yes , in fact I originally made my offer when they started the £40 deal "3" deal ( £40 seemed to good to be true!) , which they later stopped, ( so I then amended it to back to £20) as appear now restarted
I have updated my ( very original thread) to reflect this

Good to see such a quick and conscientious response, Payless - let's hope the others follow your example. In particular, choosing to state your offer in percentage terms is probably a very wise move.
Yup - £40 does seem a little unbelieveable (especially on top of the free contract offer they had recently).

Having bought one phone from e2s, can I now use my own referral reference for any future purchase (effectively getting discount of £20/£40)?0
