In january I took up free trial of AOL, I was very dissapointed with it and cancelled the next day. I have today recived my back statement and they have charged me £15.99. I have phoned them and they amazingly say they have no records of them getting a cancellation on the records. I told them that I did and I wanted my money back, they said that I can cancel today and they will refund a further £15.99 they have just taken out. but because they have no record of me cancelling they will not refund the initial £15.99.
I am absolutly fuming mad, I tried phoning head office who just put me through to the same department, and they couldnt even find a record of me!!! They said to fax a copy of my bank statement to them to refund it and ten started talking nonesence to me.
What do I do to get my money back?
I know they have done this to loads of people, they did it a few years back to my mum.

Think the only option is to send them the fax, obviously cover up the other purchases and totals on your account, let them know little as possible.
Aol are not very good at all, Ive been with bt broadband over 3 years now and never had a problem with them or connection, is a bit more expensive but as people say with 3g mobile network pay little but more get the quality.
Free wireless router as well at present i believeJust have a little faith0 -
I only went with them while I upgraded to tiscali so I didnt have to pay any dial up charges. I can't belive how stupid they are. How the hell they are still in business is beyond me.Work like you don't need money,Love like you've never been hurt,And dance like no one's watchingSave the cheerleader, save the world!0

but from their records they should be able to see that you didn't use it beyond that 2nd day.... that could be another argument point on your side..
