thanks for posts so far at least i am not the only one getting these i will get on to my boardband and see how i can block these emails incase as i can not see any where to do so

You're certainly not the only one to receive these. My wife's had emails from 3 different banks in the last week, NONE of whom are used by EITHER of us :rotfl:

As other posters have already said, blocking the sender & deleting the email is the best way of getting shot of them really.
Where there's a will, there's a way to get something cheaper from somewhere else!! :D

We, along with just about everyone else with an email account, get loads of them.

It perplexes me how the scammers will go to the lengths of creating malware and the like to hijack PCs to create botnets to send this gumph out, and to do all the email header masking etc, and to create a fake website to capture and store unwittingly entered data, yet write continue to write the email in extremely poor English which immediately gives the game away!!

There used to be a website (I think it was in Israel) where you could forward these emails, and they would then send millions of phoney log in attempts to these websites so any real data someone had entered was hidden away in a forest of fake log in details.

Despite the poor English and laughable attempts to get people to divulge their account details...... there are people stupid enough to do just that.
