New o2 contract, will they offer more than they say?
Options
Hiya!
At the moment i'm on their sim only plan without a contract length, but I would like a new phone (i'm looking at the tocco ultra).
I don't mind paying £10 a month more so I can have 600 mins, unlimited o2 calls and loads of texts - at the moment i'm paying £20 and the new contract would be £30(on 24 months). I would however prefer it to be an 18 month contract.
I have had a quick look and Vodafone do 700 mins 250 txts and unlimited landline calls with this phone but for 18 months. Only problem is I need it to be o2!!
I know they do lots of 'special offers' for upgrades, but is there any chance they will do anything to help me out if I phone or go into a shop or are those kind of things reserved for people upgrading?
Please excuse my mobile phone thickness, this will be my first 'tied in' contract and I want to make sure I won't regret it!
Thanks

Going into a shop id say theres next to no chance as generally they cant deviate from the price plans allocated, on the phone however you may have more luck, phone to get your PAC code and when they phone you to ask why your leaving quote the Voda deal and hope for the best. I have a feeling theyl do what they can to get you 18 months but you might pay a touch more for it0
