To the OP - is it your regular vet? Many vets won't allow payplans for new clients simply because they have so many people shirking on payment. :( Don't take it personally. Unfortunately, like many businesses at the moment, some vets are also feeling the effects of the credit crunch and may be less willing to offer credit.

I hope you get your little cat sorted out, let us know how he is doing. :grouphug:

How can you assume that someone working CAN get a loan? Some people work rather than claim benefits but have other reasons as to why they cannot get credit and also not everyone in debt uses this site for help. We are in a recession here and banks have far stricter criteria for lending money. And loans NEED paying back too.

Let us know what you have done OP and really hope and pray your little puddy cat is ok.

Jesus, it's a suggestion! Calm yourself.
Most normal people who work CAN get loans! Recession or no recession!

Forgive me, Ive just come on to see what the update on this poor animal is and there is none from the OP. I hate to sound suspicious, but this was a first posting?

I'm wondering if these people can help:

http://www.tailwaggersclubtrust.com/ I think they helped out someone on here before.

I read in Your Cat this month how many people are cutting out their Pet Insurance & this shows why it's not a good idea. I do hope the Cat is now being treated, and hope the OP has found help to do so but has signed it over if s/he can't cope.

Please update us OP, hope your Cat is ok

I know, and I seem to remember we have had similar first postings before, from people who have signed off just after posting, and never returned.. it makes you wonder sometimes...

Well, I hope Im wrong - and forgive me if I am - but it seems odd that someone with an emergency problem would seek out and become a member to post this. We have in the past had trolls with distraught postings that are just fabricated - gawd knows why they do it - or indeed ones asking for contributions towards the costs of something or other.

PDSA needs housing or council tax benefit, our vet will take payments until bill is cleared though I think this is unusual.
