Broadband Activation

Hi There,
I have just had a an email that my Broadband as been activated.
So I installed my modem etc but when i tried to connect i got the message no dial tone.
Any ideas what this could be?

Ps Microfilter plugged into same socket as had dial up ie upstairs socket and also in master socket downstairs.

I think you may still be trying to dial the old connection. Have a look at "connection properties" to see if it says "Always dial my default connection". If so, change it to "Never....".Can I help?0
