People just like software so much they'll fight to the death for it, Happens alot, Even things like Xbox 360, Playstation 3, Not only software people are obsessed with.

OK - point taken - So why does that entitle them to behave like Web based Jehovah's witnesses and bore the rest of witless us with their obsessions???

Well, Firefox is regarded by many people as being superior in a lot of ways to IE. I wouldn't use Internet Explorer if you paid me, but that's just me. I certainly wouldn't put up with having to use an older version of a browser because the latest one wouldn't install, but again, that's just me.

People ask what was wrong with Firefox because you might have been having some problem with it, and they could then help you out. Many many people on here have been very grateful after someone recommended they switch from IE to Firefox, so don't take it personally.

But I might suggest that in future, if you don't like the riff-raff being able to reply to your posts, then instead of posting your question on here, you write it on a piece of paper, fold it up really small, lock it in a special little box, swallow the key, then put the box somewhere no one can find it. The dark side of the Moon perhaps, or the bottom of the Mariana Trench.

That way, it'll be your special little secret, and no one will trouble you with their irksome advice ever again.
