Virgin

Does anyone know if you can get Broadband by itself with Virgin Media? I've looked on the site and I can't find any that are not bundled with the phone line :(

I currently have a bundle with TV, phone, Broadband, and mobile. But my bf is moving out in a month and I don't need (and can not afford to keep) any of it except for my mobile phone and the Broadband connection.

No, the cheapest package you can currently get is BB 'L' and phone 'M' , £19 per month for 3 months, then £24 (plus your line rental £11).
but if you are OOC, try calling them up and negotiating a better price for a bundle without the TV.

Yes you can get broadband on it's own:

For the cheapest broadband it is £20 per month after the discounted three months. You can get 10MB broadband and phone line for £25 per month.

Best thing to do is ring retentions and see if they can offer you a better deal.

yes u can but it's often more expensive to do so. Usually more than their cheapest deals. I have found myself in a similar situation recently and if u call up retentions they will do their best to keep you as a customer, remember if u are taking the other 2 services u will also get the basic tv free. But give them a call up anyway.

My advice is find a deal on the web that you like the look of (in terms of price and package) and then ring virgin and tell them about where you saw the offer and ask if they can match it. People on this thread are right when they say Virgin really want you as a customer and will more often than not match a competitors offer to get you. Also, I will add that I find Virgin's service excellent
