    It seem that you have to change registrar for the .co.uk domains through Nominet, apparently a non-profitable organisation, that charge £11.50 for transferring the domains to another registrar. I'm going to look into transferring all of my domains to namecheap. The thing is, I've already paid for most of them for a few years, so I don't want to have to pay that again.

    The money you've paid has gone to nominet, with godaddy taking a slice. The domains will still be registered, and will still expire when they say they will, plus the extra year or two that namecheap will charge for when you transfer them.

    £10+vat for however many domains you transfer isn't too bad, just make sure you do them all at the same time.

    Perhaps I will, the problem is, I don't want to many outgoings at the moment, it's the start of the tax year, and I want some income.

    Anyway, thanks a lot for your help. I'm going to take this to trading standards I think.
