Why not try and get another card with them, click into their affinity cards, and see if you can get a new one..... could be that they have some problems....
You can have more than one HBOS card....

It seems the best choice is to apply for another one with them. They will use your behaviour score aswell. If they offer you a better limit you can BT to it and close the other onenever-in-doubt wrote: »Why not try and get another card with them, click into their affinity cards, and see if you can get a new one..... could be that they have some problems....

Yea I think HBOS are one of the few providers that actually allow internal BT's.... I am sure I read that somewhere but worth a go anyway.....

I'm not guaranteeing it i'm simply stating that I remember reading it, now from memory I am sure someone opened a second account and done a B/T and it went though..... obviously it could have been normal or a fluke - I just don't know.
It has to be remembered that a lot of issuers let you have more than one card though, for instance with HBOS you could have a classic (One) card and then get an affinity RSPCA Card and do a B/T from one to the other as they are in effect, different providers. Does that make sense...?
It may not work, but worth a go.....

I think any info is good info even if it's not 100% accurate! (Well, apart from when it comes to having a soakaway in the garden & reduced council tax but that's a whole other story!)

So you paid for a soakaway to save on water bills (drainage) and found it to be incorrect info, like they only pay you for the last one year?
Reduced CT is a pain, if you appeal and get it wrong you're in trouble cos they could increase it..... unless you mean like single persons 25% discount?

I live on a newly built estate where everyone has a soakaway in the garden & we were told that we could get discounted CT because of it. We phone to ask Scottish Water but they said as we're still connected to the mains it didn't apply so we just carried on as normal. About a year later the CT payments stopped going out and when we queried it thay said that we didn't have to pay water/wastewater charges because of this soakaway but we knew they were wrong but they wouldn't take the money!! About 3 weeks ago, they wrote to us to say we owe them £600 for non paid water/wastewater charges!! So instead of paying, as there were 2 errors made on our CT account (one by Scottish Water, the other by the council) we've decided to appeal, keep your fingers crossed for me!!Started PADdin' 13/04/09 paid £7486.66 - CC free 02/11/10
