    thanks,

it was more about wether it was safer to carry them in hand luggage rather than suitcase luggage..... saves hunting for a shop straight away...... he he :D

    Hello robnye

In your position I would place the can(s) inside a rolled up towel inside a case, to protect them from the frisbee airport baggage handlers.

I would avoid putting them inside 'carry on/cabin' baggage, why carry them around if you don't need them until you arrive at your hotel?

    I've used this method successfully.;)

I took 48 cans of Caffreys with me to Dallas a few years ago, in the hold luggage. No problems, and all 48 survived the trip.

God knows what that suitcase must of looked like under an x-ray machine at the airport!!

I think that the holds of most planes are pressurised so you can transport cans of drink and aerosols in your checked baggage and it should be fine (would agree about wrapping them in a towel though!)

That reminds me of my very first flight about twenty odd years ago. All these guys got on in front of us with carrier bags full of cans of lager!! They were allowed to drink them too!! Those were the days :rotfl:
