  • Oh No

I got my wires mixed up and thought Benefit goods were giving 500 points for one product instead of two in stores (did not take in 'online' bit of tip!!!). Has anyone ever tried to take something back (from Benefit or other cosmetic) - i thought i might be honest with them and say i only realised on way out that there was bonus for two and so i want to return and add to purchase.

I am thinking of using sympathy card as i have to go back tomorrow to return Salter Body Analyser scales - I went to pick them up just now and the glass (that you stand on) literally exploded  and showered my bathroom. I phoned customer care and they said to return to store!!! Do you think i will get extra points when i show them tiny cut on my hand- i will not be impressed if they take my points back!!

Anyway i have had fantastic shop -cleared Cheshire Oaks and Bebington out of tan wipes and brushes (though only got 4 brushes)
6 x bodyform at 3 for 2 and used 7 x £1 off vouchers (Older male SA at Cheshire Oaks counted 4 coupons and 3 purchases but did not comment - therefore Boots have paid me £1.36p for my purchase :T
SA in Bebeington admitted she used vouchers along with her staff discount card and has stocked up and earned money back!

    FYI
Chester has a few nail sets and face care sets - some at front of store and some near photographic bit. All advertised at £9.99 price
Cheshire Oaks has moved most of BOGOF sun care stuff away from No 7 stand to suncare bit -no adverts to say BOGOF (though they still are)

Most dissapointed with my shopping trip to boots today. I went to the till twice.

    First shop :
Migraine kool n soothe £2.99 (not 100% sure but think this should have had 200 points, I got none)
Dry unperfumed roll on deodrant £2.49 (had coupon from machine for 150 points)
tena lady £1.89 (had a best coupon for 50p off)
boots nirolex chesty cough lintus £1.89 (should according to boots website be bogof, but wasn't)
boots essentials pure white handwash £0.69 (again according to website bogof, wasn't at the till)

    Total £11.94
    Total points 189
    And £5 no7 voucher

Second shop I spend my £5 no 7 voucher, spent £10.88 but didn't get another voucher (gutted)

I've emailed boots to find out why I didn't get the bogof's.
  • Went into Boots today. Got one of the organisers and picked up a lilac bag- put in my basket along with some other bits and pieces I needed. Got to checkout and the SA was rooting through the basket and putting stuff through in a particular order. She left the organiser and lilac bag until last and said to me "Havent you bought any other No 7 stuff as you wont have spent £15 to get lilac bag" I pointed out that full price of organiser was £15 so bag should go through. She argued a bit so I asked her nicely to try it- which she did huffing and puffing- and it worked. She was not a happy bunny, anyone wouldve thought I was stealing her personal stuff. Looked even less happy when she then had to hand me another voucher- as Id spent £10.05 :rotfl:

Poor SA must have been stressed by it all as she forgot to disable the security tab on organiser so I was bleeped at the exit
  •

I would ring them if i was you as i have never had a reply when iv'e emailed them, they might add some points onto your card as well. :)
  • There is a voucher for triple points on Boots Customer healthcare award winners at the front of the little booklet you get with boots magazine. I am sure you eagle eyed bootsers will have spotted it but maybe the other newbies like me may have missed it.

not sure if this is the right place to post this but boots in Dewsbury, West Yorks have several baby items on clearance - i got 3 lots of organic baby milk for £3.09 each (usually £7 +).

they had a lot of brest milk freezer bags, a couple more tins of baby milk, and other baby related items.

maybe not worth a special trip but not bad if you're going into town anyway !!

Do they have any of the N07 organisers in Dewsbury do you know?
I only ask as am off to Wakefield with sis tomorrow as shes desperate for an organiser and the requisite lilac bag :) and if they haven't restocked in Wakefield, Dewsbury is our last hope!
Stopped smoking Jan 2007 after 23 years!
    Cigarettes NOT smoked = 240,945
    Smoke free days = 11 Years :T
Cash saved so far = £125,45,11
  • I forgot to pick one up today, does anyone know what the vouchers on the back page are for ?

Saw some upstairs in Wakefield on Saturday, in an aisle not far from the greeting cards, just special offer 1/3 off gift sets including the organiser.
