Had a really bad day at work, so went bootsing

I got the pre-holiday face serum BOGOF 7.50
sa put it through, then "could not remember if she had put the voucher through!", cancelled the transaction, did the same thing, then called for the NO7 lady from her counter asking if the products, 5pound voucher and the 250 points voucher can all go through on the same transaction. In the end the woman from the NO7 counter said if the customer asks for the bags, and vouchers etc, then you have to give them it. She stated that this is what has been said in their recent training.

This is really confusing me, the 250 point voucher from the lilac bags say cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or discount

I'm sure i've used them before when purchasing bogof items as the sa didn't look but it's a bit tricky when you get an sa who reads every detail, also if it doesn't go on and you tall the sa, they then read it all thoroughly :mad:

So it sound like luck on these ones

I have had my 250 point voucher added on manually on two seperate occassions because it had not gone on. The supervisor said they don.t work at all, something to do with the bar code. YEAH 500 extra points id thought were lost forever. I love the friendly boots sa's wish there were more

yipeeeeeeeeee i bought the organiser today and tried the 200 point voucher an the £5 voucher , total to pay £5 but the 200 points didnt go on , although sa did scan voucher , also had another £5 vouche so purchased the set of nail varnishes , redeuced from £12 (think) to 7.99 so only had to pay £2,99 ........ bargains....total should of been £27 but only cost me £7.99 for both ,

I had an unexpected 20% saving today on Nurofen Meltlets (down from £2.55 a pack to £2.04).

Also tried to buy Max Factor brushes but they would not go through the till.

never mind, with Liverbirds advice off to Cheshire Oaks next week to see what we can get there.


Just to let you know there is not an awful lot in Cheshire Oaks besides lilac bags (of which there are 100's). No organisers or nail varnish or summer makeup kits. Also the only No 17 brushes left were out of their bags and there were only 6 or so No 17 tan towels. Lots of Bodyform with vouchers on but not in tampax section - the ones with vouchers are on stand down left side of shop when you go in!

Vouchers out of magazine start tomorrow and i want skin blemish product so i decided to wait until tomorrow in hope of scoring more points at checkout.

Getting closer to that free(ish) ipod :j
