I bought two digital cameras for christmas and used my points to pay. One has broken so i took it back - no receipt so assistant was friendly but said without a receipt she couldn't do anything. I phoned advantage card who said she should have exchanged or refunded...they were really helpful, told me to return it again and gave me a reference number in case there was another problem. I phoned the shop before i went back and when i went in i got full refund on my points....worth remembering that advantage card sales can be checked!0

banana1975 wrote:Got my Geisha box with the Peel that I bought with the parenting club voucher. Hoping that it is ok as thought I would "treat" myself as it was free. Box is cute but the contents are very samey with the purple bag one.
i got a no7 foundation (£11) and a suncare set (5.50) yesterday to qualify for the geisha set, the box is nicely designed but the contents are actually quite small! i was hoping they would be a bit big, and inside the box is also a 200points voucher- make sure you check in the box before giving it away as a present!0 -
One for the ladies
I bought a mooncup in the clearance section today in Boots Birkenhead.. reduced from £19.99 to £9.990 -
1)Read the posts on here about the dermabrasion set ( time delay) but last week when I had the £5 vouchers, there were no sets to be had.
Still cannot find any, despite going to 3 different branches - but success today. Managed to find 2 sets, which even the sa didn't know they had, hidden away on a stand.
I asked most politely if it would be possible to swap the hand cream I got last week with the voucher, for the dermabrasion set and pay the diff (had receipts). After checking with supervisor, who then phoned up someone 'higher up', they said YES,
So got 2 sets for the 2x £5 hand creams, and paid extra £9.98.
Time delay is on 342 now, but I was grateful they let me do the exchange.:T
2) No7 suncream not on bogof in this 4th store, even though it is on the web. But from what katzinthehouse said above, is it really worth the effort - I still have 2 purple bags and contents;)
3) In Boots no 5 on their clearance rack, had loads of mini dark blue Soltan stuff. Tickets said thye had been £5.99 and £5.49, now all reduced to £1. But ALL soltan is on bogof, so ended up being 50p each - thought they were a handy size for hand bags and school bags. The dark blue range is for 'men', and when I have now peeld off all the price stickers some say 'ski' and others 'sports'. All quite high factors 12 and 15 which I prefer:D0 -
My local boots (2 large stores) never seem to have a range of clearance items. I'm very jealous reading the bargains on here that some people find!
Checked the No7 sun care range today, the £24.50 set. Nice SA scanned it for me to price check - it was coming up as LS (link save) but not going through as BOGOF. We figured the LS must refer to the geisha gift set for spending over £15.some people grin and bear it, others smile and do it0 -
TS hair products are on 342 so the reduced TS items are costing only £2 for 3 items. Also there is a 100pts voucher on the AC machine for these.
Birmingham Bull Ring shop has lots of reduced items dotted all over the shop. I brought Garnier wrinkle cream for £1, Nice and Easy conditioner 50p, lots of TS products £2 for 3 items, Botanics stuff 50p and so on.0 -
Boots Brent Cross had a big sign up over the Advantage machine saying 200 points for the Stay Perfect range, but the machine didn't give me a voucher, so got the SA to add it manually. With that, 10% off makeup and 200 points used on the sunless tanning wipe (for £1.50), plus £10 PB voucher I did quite well.
And had a nice No. 7 SA who argued my case with the manager for getting both sets of bonus points on one transaction.

500 points when buying the Family First Aid Kit. This normally sells for £19.99 but has been seen reduced to £9.99. So equivalent of £4.99 if you can get it reduced with the voucher. (thanks to traceya89)
I have seen this but still dont know what voucher it is, hopefully someone else will be able to help you.
==========
regarding the above, the boots family first aid kit is now back up to £19.99. I got the 500 points voucher with the pregnancy club, but i think i said my child was about 1!! hope this helps!Just about to give up!0
