I wondered why people have been paying 2.69 for the eyedrops and i have been paying 2.80, they are 2.69 on the website too so phoned Boots and apparently its because I live in London and Boots increase the prices in their London stores! Do superdrug do this?0 -

I would imagine Superdrug do. If you have a store on Oxford Street just think of how much it costs to rent out one of those stores. London is one of the most expensive cities in the world. When I see jobs there advertised in my field they always have an additional few thousand added on top of the basic wage as acceptance that £20,000 earned in London, is not the same as £20,000 earned elsewhere.
Here is something to read and ponder. http://www.dailyreckoning.co.uk/article/240320063.html
Apologies for going a little off topic there.0 -
Question: As has been mentioned here, Elizabeth Arden are currently giving away a nice little gift if you buy two or more of their products. As has also been noted, from the 10th May you get 750 points if you buy two or more EA products. Does anyone happen to know if there will be a period where both offers will run simultaneously? I don't normally spend money on EA, but I would be persuaded to want something if I got a gift AND the bonus points.'Everyone loves to read but it can be a real nuisance when you lose your place. Here's a solution. When you finish reading a page, just tear it out. You'll save money on bookmarks too!' -- Amanda's Handy Hints, Amanda Keller. :cool:0
