  • Hi ,

How do i get the lilac bag with the No7 organiser by spending £9.99?

    Many thanks :)

    BB

The Lilac bag is on offer at £15.00 save 1/3 now only 9.99 but the till registers it as still being £15, so the bag scans as free and the the £5.01 comes off - worth buying with something else tho or a young CA who won't care The no 7 lady wouldn't put it through for you.

Not sure if it says the actual points amount on the receipt but you will have a validation code to add to your card when it does arrive, so you will get them eventually :)

Have you not found the 'Thanks' button yet? I'm sure the BG would have no problem with any informatiuon which enables any site member to grab a 'Grabbit'. I think you must have some kind of other agenda here...

    Apologies...sorry BG..off topic I know!

One of the big rules on this site is to 'Be nice to all Moneysavers' your reply was rude and condescending. Maybe when you have been here longer than 5 minutes you will grasp this concept.

This board is for posting bargains only...not the chat that is associated with it....Dragonfly02 was right in directing the answer over to the chat thread.

Back on topic (ish) I was in Boots today, and the lady in front of me bought over £10 of stuff, had NO advantage card, and even worse, when asked if she wanted a free £5.00 note (OK, its a voucher, but as good as!!), she said no!!!

Managed to pick up 2 suncare products on BOGOF, free lilac bag, 9 bodyform with vouchers attached, and a meal deal, returned 2 unwanted body lotions (now I have the lovely No 7 sunkissed moisturiser), cash £10.97, points earned 590 and a £5.00 No 7 voucher. Not the best haul in the world, but I now have a 250 point voucher (from the bag, a £5.00 normal voucher, and 9 bodycare vouchers, so I feel another trip coming on tomorrow - has anyone posted what the points are in the new magazine?

Right my fellow Boots fanatics... ;) I think it's time to sort out what this thread is all about.

I really hope Redfox (who's doing a great job on this board :T) will post her opinion as well, to help make things clear. :)

The way I see it, splitting this thread was a good idea. However, in my opinion, it does not mean that every single post on this thread should be about a new offer or glitch and nothing else (like the Tesco thread in theory) -- of course we should be able to ask people questions or elaborate on details of our bargains, otherwise what would be the point?

As an example, of course it's ok to ask the OP of the easy4men glitch (great find BTW! ) more questions here!

The way I see it, the old thread was split because there were too many posts that had nothing to do with Boots at all -- these are the sort of posts that the new chat thread is for (the "Hey everyone, look at my new avatar" type posts -- no disrespect to anyone :))

The one thing that I'm sure we'd all hate to see is some sort of competition between the two threads. Surely we're all Boots tarts and should stick together! :D

Am I right? We can chat, as long as it's relevant to the bargains?

Edit: I've PM'd Redfox and asked her to get back to us and clarify the situation. :)

I must admit i'm finding the lack of new magazine a great distraction method, i give my basket to the sa and before they look too closely at the contents i ask when the new mag is due out, they carry on swiping the barcodes look along the line of tills to the other 4 sa and say "ere Sheila do you know when the mags are comming out?"

And before you know it i've got my haul all bagged up, job done!!!

i hope it's ok to post this in acourdance(sp) with dormouse's post. I though it might help the people who can't use the kids as distractions
