I'm a bit confused now. I was quite happy with the way the two Boots threads were and thought that the system is working fine..?

I just had a look at Pash's thread, and there's no denying it's fun, but out of the 40 posts on one page, only 3 were vaguely Boots-related. I'm afraid I do not have the time to read through 37 posts of no particular interest to me. :o

So anyway, I was going to ask a question, about Boots but not about a specific offer, so where do I post it? :wall:

    Hi
I agree with the above post. I love hearing about all the bargains people get but don't want to read through happenings on Neighbours!!
    What should we do?

My point being....... with all the chat about what people have got, people repeating the same questions over and over again.... the thread will be closed. The Grabbit thread is for posting bargains only.....the other thread is for everything else......just like Tesco is split into 2 threads.
If the thread continues the way it is....it will be closed down and moved off grabbit. HTH

BTW tele programmes are not discussed on the other thread....thats the first time I have seen it mentioned. Theres only a handful of us post on the other thread....if more people join and ask questions...then it will be just as good as grabbit Boots.

If you haven't got a lilac bag yet-Colton is great!!

    Hope this helps someone;)

Do they have the often mentioned numbr 7 organisers at £9.99? I am wondering if I should take a little trip to colton rather than go to leeds and have an SA tell me I can't have the Lilac bag. (I have nothing to buy from the pharmacy bit though, lol so have to hope they let me pay anyway). Yes I'm male but mothers day is coming up hehe.

Does anyone have any suggestions on the most diplomatic way of handling the situation if an SA refuses to give the lilac bag with an organiser and the £5 no7 voucher? Do I just ask them to try scanning it as a friend got it yesterday, then if they refuse I ask if I can cancel the sale (and then go elsewhere)?

The best way to go (and it has worked for me) is to say it worked fine for your sister/friend/mother yesterday and could she just try it and see ( with a big smile) and usually they will try it and be quite surprised when it does go through :)

White rose centre today, the assistant gave me two lilac bags when i bought 2 skincare sets. They seem q helpful and have lots of giftsets, including organiser. I even got lilac bag when paid with £5 voucher for organiser at no7 counter there. :j :j :j :j :j :j :j :j :j :j :j You go girl. We should run a swap on this forum. Then everyone could get what they want

I just went to a young male SA with the lilac bag and organiser and paid with my £5 No7 voucher..he didn't say anything when I paid £4.99..saying that though my friend went to the same SA yesterday and he told her she hadn't spent £15 to get the free lilac bag..It's just pot luck..just put some bits in your basket with them

Yes I agree with ragtime.Always be polite and smile, the bigger the smile for the bigger the glitch! .If it is an obvious glitch i usually put a few things in basket just to make it less obvious- and the sa is usually in a hurry to put it all through and get on to the next.
If you fail try another counter , just not the no.7 one !Good l;uck.

HAMILTON town centre BARGAINS- med range preganacy stuff reduced to £2.50 on certain ranges. Also sanctuary stuff and trevor sorbie reduced at door.Sanctuary on 3 for 2- and it works a treat. Only one av machine working.
Nothing at the retial park- never is all the reduced stuff is at the town centre branch. But there machines are usually down. So i go to the retiail park get the Advantage card tokens and use them in the town centre branch .

Yes they had the organisers today!
I would go to the pharmacy to pay, pretend you are browsing or say there is a queue at the main till. The young girl was lovely today. Just pass the lot over, don't enquire about bag, shove it in your basket. Sorry you can't hide it under a mountain of bodyform (lol).:rotfl: Don't go to the No7 lady-she knows what she is doing.
Hope this helps in your quest for a bargain!!

I've found this on the post #2:

BOGOF on Mediterranean range voucher (if you've got a lovely SA, this can be used in conjunction with the "£5 off Med range" voucher above, and can even be used when the whole range is on BOGOF!

Tried this today, but this offer didn't work, SA explained, that these offers are not for the same Med range - "£5 off Med range" works for pregnancy range, and "buy 1, get 1 free on Med range" works for baby range. I was told, that these offers can't work together.
Did anyone tried it before? Did it work?
