Cheap phones
As part of my budgeting I've decided to move from my current monthly contract to PAYG. I'm currently paying £30 a month to Vodafone for a service I hardly use. My 18 month contracts ends at the beginning of May. I hate my current phone, I find it difficult to use and it switches itself off all the time and so I would want to change this at the same time. I can find lots of advice regarding finding the cheapest tariff but nothing on where to look for cheap phones. I have an iPod and digital camera so don't need a phone with these features, something that looks good and is reliable would be nice.

There isnt any science to picking a phone if all u want is to receive calls. There are plenty of cheap phones out there on payngo which are cheap and reliable - any old Nokia will do what u r asking for. Get one from ebay.
If all u want is receieve phone calls one of the old nokia phones will do u fine - a new payngo - i saw a nokia 2610 or something like that for £9.75 from dialaphone.0
