OMG ! Did not realise the cost of insurance for newly passed young drivers, my grandson is due to take his test soon.

It's horrendous maggy50, heard of some newly passed 17 year old lads being quoted £4,000 and upwards for a 1.1 Corsa. My daughter passed at 17 and they wanted £2,500 for a 1.25 Fiesta, she ended up getting an 800cc Matiz and it still cost her £1,400 with me as a named driver

Rhys has a 1.0 corsa and his insurance is with Icube have a look at there website maggy, when he was learning I phoned Marks and Spencer's who I am insured with to put him on my insurance for learning. Wait for it I have a 1.4 corsa they wanted £9000 :eek:, no way in the world was we going to pay that. Marks must not like young drivers.

No snow here yet in doncaster,forecast some tomorrow though :eek:

Dont want it,but then again,i dont trust the weather forecasters,think they err on the side of caution now with the weather,tells us it is gonna be avalanches,flooding,and 6 foot of snow :p:p just to cover their behinds,after the Michael fish episode!!!.
If i wake up in morning and it has been snowing,fine::snow_grin

Getting towards 2 inches, not been that heavy until an hour ago, nearly crossed us now though looking at radar on Met Office web site

It is a blizzard here we have about 3 inches, I'm glad it is Sunday tomorrow.
