It is 26.5 degrees INSIDE my house and we haven't had the heating on in weeks, now I am sure you all remember me moaning about how cold it was here in winter (if you don't then I'll tell you now - It was freeeezing!)
We might as well not have a roofthe house seems to want to mimic what the weather is like outside..right down to water running down the wall in the hall when it rains
On a brighter note...went volunteering at a local riding school helping out with disabled kids who ride the horses for therapy and made a new friend in a little boy who told me about all his toys and favourite tv shows and when he went to Alton Towers  absolutly knackered now though!!!
How is everyone else doing?0 -

Hi there Mel
lol, I always complain, "its too hot, it's too cold" and so on, think this is just part of life in general isn't it? lol
At least now you will save some money on the gas bills.;) Me too, they were so expensive over the last year.......
Wow, what a lovely thing you done :T:T:T.
Well done.
My son with needs, has his own 2 horses at his aunt's farm, she has about 20 now, although the two that I say that are my son's are just sort of loaned to him then if you know what I mean, he has looked after these himself.
He loves them, they are called Hadyn and Becki.
I will have to find some pics.;)
Its been lovely here today as well, have not checked the temps though, the nights have been difficult to settle do you think? The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
Yes they have, plus there was a thunderstorm last night, right above my house (or it sounded like it
) I have never heard thunder as loud as that! It even woke the OH up, which takes some doing believe me :rotfl:
I was ok with the littler horses but the ones that were taller than me really scared me - I haven't been anywhere near a horse since I was about 7. It's amazing that the kids aren't scared at all!0 -

I don't think BIG BEN would wake my hubby up if that was right next to him lmao :rotfl::rotfl:.
You have to watch some horses don't you?
Think Daniel's stands at approx 17 and 18 high, his aunt has even some at 21high something like that........
Daniel has never been scared, yet he adores all animals, he treats them all like royality lol.:DThe one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

The biggest one I stood next too (just to stop any kids falling off!) was 15 I think, I led one that was 12 and it wasn't half strong! I did have a nice cuddle with the resident cat though0 -

Awe there's sweet, :A, there is a cat that lives in my sister Shazza's street, think he has adopted my sister to be honest, not the other way round lol, and he is a few months old, and a Bengal.;)
The lady asked if my sister wants to keep him, for free......., what an offer for this sort of cat.The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

Wow  Is this the sister that breeds Bengals?
Although my kitties are worth more than their weight in gold to me
My mum got another cat this week, they have called him Albert (but my sister and I call him Bob and he seems to like this betterwe think Bob is a good name for a cat)
He is the only boy among our 4 girls and so far..Imelda and Carmen are ignoring him, Mab was sniffed by him and he wasn't too interest in her (she met him against her will by the way because she is a scaredy cat and won't go near him) and Ruby (she's the Queen remember) hissed and spat at him and has been sulking under the kitchen table for the last few days.
Still all this is a better reaction than when mum brought that dog home
There hasn't been a boy cat in the house since 2005 and Ruby was the only one out of the 4 girls who was alive then so she must have got used to it being an all girls house :rotfl:0 -

Wow, you have some lovely cats then.:D
Cats can be sensitive can they, especially with changes, my cat if anyone rings the doorbell or knocks on the front door, he is off to hide lol, and he will not go out at all, he is defo an indoor cat, saying that with the main roads, its too risky as well.
Love those cats names by the way.:A
The one who breeds the bengals is my hubby's niece.;)
They are the one's with the farm, lucky things.XXThe one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

If someone knocks at our door some of our cats have always gone to have a look who it is (Prue did it and Ruby does now - Melinda would sit at the top of the stairs and growl but the effect is not really the same is it? Little fluffy black cat pretending it's a big scary doggie)
Imelda goes to the door but that is only because she is hoping to escape when you open it  we had a little kitten once named GiGi who would bolt for the front door if it opened! If the postman had to knock on the door to deliver something he knew he had to try and catch her as she made a dash for freedom :rotfl:
The rest have always been scared of the front door and don't try and go out of it. It's like they think the front of the house is a completely different world to the back of it and haven't realised that if they walk around it it's actually the same place.
Mab sits in my sister's bedroom window which is at the front of the house and the look on her face if she sees you at the front door is so funny it's like she's thinking "but what are you doing down there???"
I'm rambling again lol........0 -
