Hi Laurie
I would start another thread for this, stay on the PPI reclaiming thread though and subject - Mortgage PPI help, where you should receive help on this one, good luck.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
Have some news about dad, the NHS continued care almost through, should be by the end of the week and the EMI Nursing Care home is only up the road from mum's, I used to work there 16 yrs ago lol, nice place too and all staff are EMI trained.:T
Would have been nice to have had him home permanently but must think of mum as well and we can see him whenever we like and also take him out whenever we like.
So thought I would share my news.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
Really glad that being sorted for your Dad Di, well all of you really. Nice to know you worked there so you can see what it is like behind closed doors. x:mad:0

Quite an hectic day this afternoon.
Taken my youngest for his dental check up, all is fine and does not have to go back now for another 6 months.
However, today he also told me about a lump in his groin, I asked him how long has it been there, he said about 2 weeks, its not visible, but concerning, as he had a node removed from his neck when he was a baby, it just kept growing and growing.
Anyhow, I rang the GP surgery straight away and was told to take him straight over, we done this and the lump was checked, the doctor suspects an infected node in his groin but needs to rule out other things, so given him 500mg amoxicillin, a 5 day course, to take 1 three times a day and I have to take him back up first thing on Monday morning to have blood tests done and go up again the following day for the results, he is getting them done as a fast track.
Like the GP said, let the antibiotics start working for the first few days, hopefully the lump will decrease in size by Monday.
My oldest son is having a cyst removed at our local hospital soon as well. The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

No movement to the care home yet, a few end touches to be dealt with first.
We have been going through dad's fave music at mum's so he has something to listen to.
LOL, as well as Val Doonican, he loved all the Western themes too.
One of them here "Come Maddalena"
