I remember this and I know you had an awful time trying to get this sorted.

They had wipe out all the money she had in her account as well as her overdraft. She was upset on the phone but is ok now. I have just rang her and she is busy doing work for her uni course.

Poor kid doesn't need this. Things are stressful enough this being her final year at uni.

I haven't been able to concentrate on anything so worried for her.

Glad she is ok now though

Sorry to hear about this, Showergirl. That's really bad. The trouble is chip 'n' pin still isn't very safe. Not going into details, but it is very easy to rig up a system to the terminal that intercepts the data between the card and the terminal. It's a massive security flaw if you know what you're doing.
Is everyone else ok? Had quite a busy day at work today!

It is bad with what happened to Showergirl's daughter isn't it?
What an awful experience for a young lass to go through this.
I think there was something on the news about this chip n pin business as well.

Truly awful what happened, some people just don't have any scrupals. Whatever happened to integrity and pride? I just hope it doesn't affect her credit rating in the future for house buying.
