I just realised I haven't told you lovely folks, that mum has decided she wants dad home and give it a good try.
She said she has thought really hard about this and feel its important to give it at least a go with the help from extra carers.

Then in time if this works out a day centre will be arranged.:j:j:beer:
This will if the package is prepared in time for by the end of January.

Congrats on this, Di, and hope it all works out for your family.

    Hi all,
Hope you have all had a good Christmas and New Year. Just got back from staying with relatives in a lovely village in Newton Abbot.

Now i'm afraid it's back to reality!
Came back to a freezing cold house, a flooded kitchen(washing machine decided to fill itself up). Still all sorted now.

Hope those waiting on PPi hear something really soon. Can't be much longer for them now.

Good luck to all for a good 2010
    xx

Hello Di, Happy New Year to you, hope you had a good anniversary .

I am so pleased that your Mum has made the decision to bring your Dad home and give the care package a go. I am sure it is a relief to you and you know that if it does not work then you have given it your best.

I hope that your Dad can come home soon and that the help and support offered is sufficient to enable him and your Mum to live their life comfortably together.

Give them both a huge hug when you see them. Hope you and your family are well, apart from your earache, hope that clears up soon.

    Take care

Sorry to hear about your ear ache. I get them really bad when I get a cold, my ear goes all bunged up and I can't hear anything. Have you tried paracetamol? May help relieve the symptoms. If it's just a general infection, it should clear up within a few days. X
