My OH has man flu  and I am going to have to wash the dishes and cook tea

I don't mind cooking but I really, really despise, abhor and despair at doing dishes! (I blame my mum for this...she bought a dishwasher before I was born so I didn't know any other way of life untill the dishwasher broke down when I was 11 and was never replaced....it was a nightmare!)
And I immediately regretted moaning about loading the dishwasher because washing dishes is a million times worse!
Anyway...what does everyone else do to make washing dishes less of a chore?
Please ....give me something to make me want to get off the computer and into the kitchen!

Right then..dishes are done :j
Now what to give my poor sickly other half for tea? Beans on toast or a pot noodle?
Hmm...at the moment the pot noodle is winning because I suppose I could manage to wash 1 fork if I have to do the dishes again tomorrow
I mean seriously, this is the 2nd time in as many days I have had to wash up! He is going to start thinking I'm not actually completely incapable of doing it which is what I have been trying to convince him :A0 -

Yes a pot noodle is a great solution, I was at first going to say a bowl of soup but that means more washing up lol.....:rotfl:
Glad you managed to get through the dishes though:T lmao...or should I say forks pmsl :rotfl::rotfl:.
Tell your OH as soon as he is well, he can make up for it lol
