Glad things are going well for you at the moment as for worrying about your daughter it what us mothers do.
Trying to keep busy so don't think about results.
Have done all my housework and had a walk to the shops, got some spare time so thought I would come on here to get updated.
I am really pleased that you are all winning with your claims you have all waited a long time for them.
It may help take the strain out of xmas.
I have nearly finished my shopping ( gone over the top with my daughter ) but I still get that thrill when I see her open her presents, even though she is nearly 22.
Di, Pinknico ,Amersall, Maxdp, Dialysis and everyone else I have missed hope you are all well

All well here thank showergirl, only got two more presents to buy!
    Best wishes to you.xx

    An update on dad.

He is doing okay....but the sad thing was that he tried begging to come home with mum, he was getting all upset, said he was fed up, as its been over 6 weeks now since being in this hospital unit.
That is without the 7 weeks he had before that in the general hospital, and was home for a short while between.

At least he still remembers he has a home to come home too bless him, it must have been difficult for mum as well, she said she felt bad leaving him there, and he looked very pityful.
Heartbreaking I know, so lets hope it will be soon they can get things good for him in regards of getting the meds right so he can be home soon.;)

    Hello Huni.

Hope your dad's keeping his spirits up, keep me posted when you get any news.

I'm fine thanks Di and yes i am looking after myself. I always do what the doctors tell me to do. I need to listen to them after all they are ones with the Purse strings as the saying goes (except it's Organ strings in my case Ha ha) :rotfl::rotfl: Sorry please excuse my sick sense of humour.

I don’t know how you manage to reply to as many posts as you do, you never miss a trick. Your wee fingers must be typing away like the speed of lightning. Your like Florence Nightingale you go around the posts helping everyone, you’ve got the heart of an angel. :A

Have you ever had any dealings or experience regarding the Visa Chargeback rules/policy? I’m trying to make a claim for dad for a yearly subscription with Setanta sports before they went bust. Hate the thought of my wee dad getting a raw deal over anything.

Aww bless you Gerry, your such a sweetheart.:kisses::smileyhea.
And always very cheerful, considering with what your going through as well.:A
I was sure I did read a post earlier in regards of Santander, will have to find it again, as there are so many about this one.

I would definately give it a go on reclaiming that back, yes that is right, I told mum as well to check out all their policies, you never know do you, and I do think our parents have probably had raw deals over these past years.
So I take it that they sold your dad a subscription that he did not require then Gerry?
If this is the case then yes write to reclaim on this, the money is rightfully your dad's and they should refund this back if its worthless, or for whatever reason your dad has with this.;)

Di, bake him a xmas cake with a file in it. (I couldn't resist that, sorry.)

On a serious note, I hope you will be able to have him home for a while over Xmas. It must be so hard getting a bit excited that it's getting closer but then remembering that 1 of your special people may not be there to share it.

Gerry, I saw your post in the DT arms, but must admit I didn't read it cos I thought you were a fella and it was all about footie, sorry. Did you get out of there with your skin still on your back?

I hope everyone is having a good day, health-wise and everything else. Take care of yourselves.
