My OH is like you, but I'm always cold...in fact my hands are freezing right nowand I hate being cold! The thermometer in the hall says it is 23 degrees celsius in here right now, there must be something wrong with me

Busbyh, you are a mum and me too and I could never imagine actually being apart from my kids for so long
. I have had my moments with my son but most of that has been cause of outside family infuences. I think she feels better without me in her life TBH. My sis lives with her and my sis has a son and they don't like anyone interfering with their lives really. I must admit there are times when I am completely lost but I have my kids and my hubby so have to go on.

Outside influences can be a bind and cause lots of problems.
You may be wrong about her not wanting you in her life, she could be pining just as much as you, to rekindle the relationship. I think it's a case the longer it goes the harder it is to get back on track, so to speak.
Thankfully you do have your kids and husband, but maybe one day, it would be nice although difficult to get together again, just occasionally even, and let things happen at their own pace.
xx

If your house is in good condition its fine but otherwise you can actually be making yourself more money in the long run I was told last week by this damp specialist. I will have to get this sorted and then back to blankets but must admit our heating is set to come on automatic at certain times if the temp dips below a certain level but its not come on yet so it must be warm enough for now.
Yes I see what you mean by the damp problem. We had cavity wall insulation a couple of months ago so wonder how that is going to effect the temperature in here.
Have a small wood burner so try and use that in the winter as much as I can I like the warmth but find central heating makes my sinuses bad.:o:mad:0
