Ideally you need 3D glasses, it then shows a picture of a spaceship.
Just watching the currency markets and they are all gapping up in a major way. Breakouts all over the place above resistance, in theory this could indicate a big week ahead.
Euro gaps up and is stronger then sterling which confirms my own theory for it to continue doing so
yen weak, euro strong is generally bullish0 -

Possibly Euro bullish, will have to see if it holds.
Index futures seem to like it, gap up at the moment, giving a projection of SPX cash just above 1200, likely knee jerk will have to hold.Hope for the best.....Plan for the worst!

Index futures have backed off a little from the initial euphoria. Personally I don't really see how this would change anything equity wise, so for now equity market targets remain the same.
Currency wise it is (as we've already seen) Euro bullish as the weak shorts get squeezed and weak longs jump out of the Dollar. However longer term it is Euro negative imho, it opens the bailout stall for the rest of the PIIGS, and it simply cements the view that the FED will be in a position to raise long before the ECB.
It could also allow a short term pop in PM's before a summer malaise, if indeed there is to be one.Hope for the best.....Plan for the worst!

Its all getting very interesting. Part of the reason for my query on FRES related to where strength may lay in the near term.
The DOW is at (virtually) 11000 and whilst this is 'talked up' as a significant number I thnk it is psycologically important but my own feeling is that its not really technically important. Although, it wouldn't be unreasonable for some pullbacks in the markets on hitting some of these numbers after a nice run up.Personal Responsibility - Sad but True

Its probably healthy that there's uncertainty and scepticism about whether this can go much further. When they start wheeling out people like the author of "Dow 36,000" or even "Dow 30,000 by 2008: Why it's different this time", and start talking about "new paradigms" then it's time to get out0

Whilst Zeal are trying to sell their services, I nonetheless found this article quite interesting reading.Personal Responsibility - Sad but True
