Got to love how commodity stocks fall so fast on a turn of news and they fell much faster then the average tech stock. Much better to buy them back at some point if the falls do get bigger imo, just got to decide what is the bargain price....
Ah yes, "come on down" as that great poet used to say ;)

I'm not a day trader so am sat with my 50% cash waiting to go back in. TBH, the bigger the retracement the better. I have lined up my 'ducks all in a row' and am ready to go back in, probably 100% invested, although I expect another couple of weeks of weakness.

Am also planning also to take a flyer on the new Junior Miners Fund as I think there could well be bigger returns from the minows and possible consolidation.

For stocks I will be going back in to / increasing my holding in CEY, CZA, FRES, KMR, MXP (possibly), POG, TMC, WTN, YAU.

As you mentioned, I am just waiting for an entry point.

Yea thats sounds great :D, I might avoid using the telephone to trade on that one though
. Think I read it tipped somewhere, before the name change because they are mixed with iron ore which is not a bad thing if needed by china its just a mixed dynamic
  • Run robotic trading software so that it can trade the market without you having to be glued to your computer screens.

I run long and short strategies so I don't care which direction the market goes.

This is not something that will come in the future. Robotic Trading exists today and many are taking advantage of it.

You do not have to be a programmer to do it either.

TBH, I came in to POG by way of ORE (Aricom), which was actually spiun out of POG a couple of years ago; they re-aquired it earlier this year.

I believe POG are undervalued just on their Au assets / production and the iron ore side of things isn't even in the price yet. They are one of the lowerst cost producers of Au although, they carry a 'Russia risk' discount. THese have the potential to 'go big' although time will tell.

about time the FTSE slipped below 5000, getting back to more realistic valuations and EVEN more importantly giving me an entry point :D
  • I figure a good share is worth buying at even a high price, its just hard to do but if quality is worth paying for with items you use then why not a company especially if its unique.
Its less profit especially short term, Im just saying if its a growing share theres no shame in being involved.

Unfortunately I missed the boat on a few things, also Im often transfering money sideways so as one thing gets a nice price to sell my other target has already risen

This market hasnt really pulled back at all except in July that dip was a bounce off the 200 moving average apparently (didnt realise that exactly at the time)

Everythings moved nicely down a bit more today, except CEY (the little bu**er), although a nuber of my interests have bounced off todays lows.

today was a big day IMO

i think the next few weeks well be a buyers market (if that makes sence he!he!)

i will not bother saying what i bought and sold over the last week i have been doing alot of short day or two trades and its worked very well due to its up and down like a yo yo period
but today i think its the start of the correction (long overdue i think)

i am sure the next few weeks will be a great time for cash ready traders just in time for crimbo

i am hoping fellow members make the most of this time coming,

i know am ready to pounce on opportunities

anyway have a great weekend and good luck
