Egg Money stopping in-credit interest

I notice under the options to withdraw a positive balance it doesn't state that you can BT from another card, only to current account/overdraft.
I've just logged into my account and the option is there to BT from another card but just want to check whether anyone has successfully done this since the rules changed.“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0 -
Has anyone spotted if it will still be possible to create a positive balance on Egg Money card after 15 May? As far as I can see such additional positive balances will still be allowed - and thus still qualify for 'free' transfers on.
(Anyone?).....under construction.... COVID is a [discontinued] scam0 -

Do you mean have we still got the option to use as mule card? I'd be interested in that too.“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0 -
Just received the email.
To be fair, the reduction in credit interest was inevitable and it doesn't affect me as I never kept money on it away, but I can see how some people have been using it was a relatively attractive savings interest rate.
I use my Egg Money for business expenses when travelling so I make at least £150 from using my card. If they had scrapped that they I would be looking elsewhere.
Another reason for stopping with them is that I find their customer service to be excellent.0 -
They're only charging a fee if you use an ATM to withdraw the money. Transfers of positive balances will remain free AFAICS.Well that's what I thought... but my original point was surely they can't charge a 3% withdrawl fee on £50,000 worth of savings... they just can't!!Conjugating the verb 'to be":
-o I am humble -o You are attention seeking -o She is Nadine Dorries0 -
No terms yet, but even the more detailed summary online says that the 30-day price-difference refund applies only to large-ish shop purchases, not online: pretty cool, but not quite as impressive as the headline.steveandel wrote: »They're also intriducing some new features:

They all sound pretty good to me, especially the first, second and last one, although we'll obviously have to see the t&c's first.
They've set this out as the elimination of positive balance interest, not just a variable drop to 0%. How likely do you think it is that they'll go to the expense of changing their terms again, for the privilege of paying more money to those with a product no longer available to new customers? It's gone.... So when the BOE rate picks up i wonder if
the positive balance interest rate will come back. ...0 -

That's true ... but when you try to transfer a balance to your current account, it tells you it will take SEVEN WORKING DAYS for the money to reach the destination account!!! Where is the money during these 7 working days?
Outrageous!
