If i get rid of Sky does my box and/or viewing card revert to being able to get Freesat channels, or do I need to buy a Freesat viewing card?

The card does revert to the Freesat form Sky channels, yes. No need to buy another.0

It's not quite the regular Freesat, it's the no-charge channels offered by Sky. Many are the same but there are some differences. Sky has more.
I noticed yesterday that Sky are changing their viewing cards at no charge to Sky subscribers. I suspect that they will charge £20 or so for their non-paying customers like me.0
