Do you mean Dell Outlet I mentioned?
Go to the Dell Website, there's a link on their to the Outlet. They sell PCs/Laptops that have been ordered in error etc. Still new but at reduced prices.0 -
Well you've pretty much come up with the spec you need already.
Some places you can source laptops from are Dell, as mentioned, ebuyer, pc world/curry's/dixons, comet, dabs.com, etc etc
Ebuyer seem to have some very good deals on occasions, though personally I have never had any problems with them, some people have had worse experiences.
Gateway laptops are well rated as per a recent gadget show programme as well - though it doesn't apper you can buy directly from them, though I may not have looked hard enough.
If weight is an issue, then make sure you get one that isn't too heavy - if it's a home machine, then is of no concern.
