Hi, I have created a website and looking to advertise it but I don't know how to go about it, need it to cost as little as possible. Unfortunately I can't post the webadress here as it is not allowed. It is basically a simple business idea providing cheap advertising for websites, which seem ironic as it is exactly what I am looking for right now.

You're asking for help to advertise an advertising website? Am I reading that correctly?

    For press releases, try https://www.prweb.com
All the big internet "gurus" supposedly use it!

    Hey there,

If I get this correct I press the button and get sent to a random website? Is this not just exactly like stumbled upon the firefox addon. You basically click for a random website but rather than be advertising for companies (ie to get money out of you), it can be something you are interested in as you can submit a profile where you are from, what you like etc so it's more personalised and you are sent good websites that have been rated by other users(who are not paid to advertise the sites) and you also rate websites. You'd need to use it.

I'm cynical and I'd rather use something that I knew was free and people were rating websites and submiting things because they like them and not being paid and I can click on websites I would have a chance that I'm interested in.

Basically same idea for free, rated by users so you get really interesting sites. I use it and love it, so I would have no reason for this also mine is an add on to firefox so it's simple to use.

Good idea in general though, but just letting you know what you are up against. I know what it's like.

One other thing, pay per clicks aren't that great firstly they cost money and what happens is competitors (though I'm not sure who this would be) repeatedly click the link to use up all your money and no one but them gets to see it.

Google SEO, some great tips out there how to get your website up the rankings. Don't spam, keyword stuff etc it'll get you banned from google.

I think your homepage has the style but maybe need to rethink the insides.

Good job though. Not being too negative but check out stumbled upon. If you add on something to your site unique that would grab people back that could help. Add a forum, blog maybe. I know good blogs bring people in. Create a myspace about your site. Keep working on it. You need something to pull people in and make them come back and I think almost your main idea would be secondary.

    All the best
