hi, my sister in currently on Orange everyday50, she is planning on selling it and getting another contract since she dont use the offpeak that much. My question is I have no clue and neither does she, on who offers the best talk plan. She wants at least 200mins any network and 200 text, and no more than £20. Also she want to do it at one of the local mobile phone branches like phone4u. Is it possible, anyone has a good contract they can recommend?

tmobiles flext plan 25. line rental 18.25 gives you £60 credit to use anytime any network @ 20 pence per minute. works out 300 minutes. check out http://tmobile.co.uk/Dispatcher?menuid=plans_flext_get&chosenPricePlan=pmt

you can combine voice messages and texts too.

so an example of 200 minutes that ur sis wants would be

    20p x 200 = £40.00 credit used for 200 minutes

then you got £20.00 left for text messages. at 10p a message gives you 200 text messages too :P

and less than cost is £18.75 a month. :P but 18 month contract.

I'm also at the end of my orange contract.
I was paying £35 for 200 xnet mins and 100 texts.
They can't match the T mobile FlexT deals. The best they could do was 240 xnet mins and 120 texts for £25, as compared to a similar deal with t mobile for £18.75
Iv'e got my pac code and am going back to t mobile!

Ive just gone to T-Mobile :-)

FlexT 35...but works out at £19/month through cashback from carphonewarehouse direct sales No. or online website

The FlexT deals seems to be the best on the market at the moment (apart from those small shoddy cashback outlets which i don't trust anymore)

yeah I'm considering Flext 35 through e2save (owned by carphonewarehouse) which are offering the same deals as CPW plus a few more handsets.

What happens on a 18 month Flext or any PAYM tariff if your phone stops working as all phones just have a 12 month guarantee. Do you send it back to T Mobile to be fixed & how long does that take? Under what if any circumstances would they replace a phone after the first 30 days and can you do that at a T Mob shop or do you have to post it to them.
    thanks

I would have thought most phones that stop working are damaged through accidental means or even stolen :)

Therefore the warranty wouldnt cover it and you need insurance. How they replace that is written in the insurance policy you take out.

I personally think its all a waste of money unless you are not a careful person. If I lost my phone I would just order another sim card from T Mobile, have the existing phone blocked (if stolen) and buy another phone off ebay.

    Edit -

heh ... T Mobile insurance is £75ish quid a year plus an excess of £25 on 1st claim. Hmmm, so £100 in total to claim. I think its cheaper to grab a phone off ebay ..... and imagine all the money you save each year.
