Hi all
OH qualified for JSA from 18th March of £64.30 per week
So far he received a payment for £86.43 on the 3rd April
No idea what dates that payment relates to so not sure when he will next get one ?
He's not here hes gone up north looking for work and I can't ring because it's in his name
Anyone know
Worked out that daily rate for JSA is £9.16
So that means he got 9.43 days worth ?
Anyone else had odd amounts im confused
Thanks

jsa did not increase until april 6 so he would have been paid £60.50 from march 18 and not £60.50 it is payed in arrears what day of week does he sign on0 -

My 1st payment was an odd amount but then you get paid every 2 week - about 2-3 days after you sign on. If your OH is due to sign on next Monday, he will get another payment on wed/thurs after he has signed on.MFIT T2 Challenge - No 46
Overpayments 2006-2009 = £11985; 2010 = £6170, 2011 = £5570, 2012 = £12900 -

The JSA would have been paid from 210309 (first 3 days are not paid as are classed as 'waiting days').
The weekly amount is 60.50 prior to the April increase.
60.50 divided by 7 multiplied by 10 (10 days from 210309 to 300309) = 86.43.
The next payment would normally have been issued when your OH next signed on which I assume would have been 130409. As 130409 was a Bank Holiday I assume he was 'excused' signing, so a full 2 weeks money would have been issued in advance and I assume he has already received it?
Hope this helps0 -
Thank you so much for explaining all that
We have yet to receive any further payment into our account ?
I shall check it again in the morning
But yes he was excused until end of month for signing on
Thank you for taking the time to reply

Update
Finally got through after 22 mins on hold
Was told that local job centre had failed to upload signing on details (signing on day was a bank holiday)
Hence no payment
Lady is going to try & get a payment made into account today
Can't believe that a bank holiday is not built into the system better
We have had nothing since 3rd April"Very funny, Scotty. Now beam down my clothes."

you should have requested a counter payment because even if they do a bank payment today you wont recive it into your account until wed/thurs0 -
Just checked online the payment is in my account shows up as CHAPS payment
But it is £124.80 when she said £128.60 ?"Very funny, Scotty. Now beam down my clothes."
