They're adding up nicely now
I never saved before either huggermugger which is why I have joined both the clubs as its getting me in the habit of saving which has got to be a good thing! :j
Thanks for the encouragement ( and miseter too); Sorry I haven't replied before but I've just had three days in bed with flu(One way of not spending money!)
I have unofficially joined the £2 club (well I've saved £2) but this saving lark takes some getting used to & I can't go official until I'm sure I won't raid it when things get tough. Commitment isn't my strongest suit... However, (deep breath) I am going to commit the 20p's to the holiday fund and alter my signature and save every 20p I get. There, it's public now so I'll have to stick to it!

hope you're feeling better now huggermugger
well done on your savings so far & for making the commitment! :j
I'm sure you'll build up your fund in no time, I love saving now & it feels nice to have some money to fall back on
look forward to seeing how you're doing, good luck!0 -
btw, I most certainly was not ignoring you mcolleta and from my experience of this thread (and this board) I don't think anyone else would either. Like piglet, I came across this thread because it was high in the current discussion list and because it was headed "20p savers club"
It's an unfortunate situation and it would be good to have it resolved amicably. As suggested a merger would be good. Could miseter & mcolletta share the admin/updating? It does seem to be growing fast (in more ways than one!) and could easily become quite a big job... Go on, shoot me down.... :rotfl:0 -

Bless you hon, I'm getting there - just having to learn that in flu, savings & life, it all takes time...0 -
I do agree with huggermugger0

Huggermugger, I just want to echo what Ozzyfan said - well done on the savings and the "going public"!
Piglet
P.S. From time to time we all have to raid the savings pot...so don't feel bad. I always look at it this way: if I didn't have a savings pot to raid, my bank account would be looking a little less healthy  - if I manage to avert a "crisis" without bashing the bank account, its a good thing, and not something to beat myself up over!!0 -
Hi...please can I join too? Saved £8.00 so far.0
