Really impressed that in a week, I have managed to get £7 worth! I have been asking for 20p's in change wherever I go - soon mounts up!

Mine are building up so quickly. I'm up to £7.20 today. I never would have saved this much ordinarily. My smartie tube is about 3 qtrs full!!!

I'm going to join this one, i like the idea of using the money to make an extra payment off a credit card so that is what i am going to do with mine. I'm also going to keep hold of the next smarties tube that comes my way as they seem to be a good place to put them in.
found 3 in my purse already today so that's 60p i will check my change tin when i get home and count those as well.

Have recounted my Smartie tube today (although had a bit of a struggle to get them out - rather "loosened" the top on one side...can see me having to replace the tube fairly often if I am going to do these "count ups" - yummy...mmmmmm...more Smarties to munch :j - all in the name of MSE, of course !!!).

Anyway, to cut a long story short, today's total is £4.20 (£1.00 more than I thought...I am soooo bad at keeping track of these things :rolleyes: !). I have decided that I am saving for a "me" treat :A - something just for me, that I don't have to feel bad about spending money on. Only trouble is...I can't think of what I want...!

Oh well, I'm sure that by the time I've filled the tube I will have thought of something...maybe a book or a CD/DVD...?!

hi up 60p :j i'm saving all my coins for the six weeks holiday so i can at least take my daughter somewhare with out putting it on cc but i haven't used it since oct 05 so i am doing well .
