I just updated last post mate....... can you work out exactly the amount of charges and then post the following:

    Charges
    Default amount
    Credit limit
Limit at time of default (i.e. can you explain whether you had £1 left and then a charge made you overlimit which then spiralled out of control - can you explain this period in May that they say you went and spent £392 or whatever)

Default amount- I will pm you a screen shot of the default
    Credit limit £200

I went over my limit by £7 and they slapped on a total of £60 in charges and it went from there to be honest.

The period they talk about they applied £60 in charges and my mthly payment was sent back from my bank too. I never only used the card 6 times for small amounts

What you need to do mate is sit down and work out, on separate lists the following:

    1. Charges before June 2006
(usually £30 odd quid a pop - ask for them all to be refunded but easier to just ask for difference of the amount charged and the rate of £12 so do both versions to compare)

    2. Charges after June 2006
(usually £12 a pop - ask for them all to be refunded)

You can only go back a maximum of 5yrs (Scotland) so don;t go back any further than then (5yrs from today).

So by the end of it all you'll have two lists, one with all dates and charges for before June 06 and another with all dates and charges for after June 06. You'll also have a list that will include the difference of the charges.

When you have this, please post again mate and i'll do your letter. Remember, I need the dates of the charges and the actual amount as well. You cannot reclaim interest only late payment or charges of some capacity.

You say here £260? Also, why did they stop charging you, all of a sudden?

Other charges are over 5yrs ago

They stopped as I started to set up a Trust Deed

Also this account was included in a trust deed which I have now been discharged from. So no balance is due
