Not so healthy probably, but my sis didn't have a cooker for months and got by with a microwave and an electric frying pan. She swears by the electric frying pan she ahs made stew and all sorts in it.Anyone who lives within their means suffers from a lack of imagination:beer:

Packet rice (like savoury rice) comes in loads of flavours and does in the microwave... you can get supermarket brands for 50p and Bachelors Rice on offer for 5 for £2 sometimes. I personally like the 2-min Tilda Biriyani and the Mexican (bit more £££ but yummy).
Can eat them on their own or in a sandwich wrap with salad veg and sauces e.g. bbq/tom/curry/salsa/mayo etc.
Steamer is a very good idea though... they're usually in the supermarket for less than £10 for the cheapest brand.Homer: I want to share something with you, Bart: The three little sentences that will get you through life. Number 1: Cover for me. Number 2: Oh, good idea, Boss! Number 3: It was like that when I got here.
