coupon_queenie wrote: »Thanks bullshot, my local t's only accept 5 coupons per shop. I would never, never, even think of doing 'multiple shops' as I cherish the coupon policy at my local t's. Once a week I travel further afield to another t's were I can use more coupons :T I have used the above mentioned coupons in the past but got none left. When peeps post on here and say ' try this n that again and you can get another from couponnet ' ( by altering your details ) my pc never lets me print another
One thing I have learned though, is,....... buy more mags when there is a coupon in it !!!
btw.... my nice mr postman is a few inches smaller than he used to be, due to all the freebies I send for but rarely any coupons in them LOL :rotfl::rotfl:
Mine is supposed to be a percentage( which varies from cashier to cashier, but they invariably let me go over , most I have ever used in 1 shop has been £18...but I'm averaging £25 a week so far this year, as I've done 2 shops some weeks and 3 shops occassionally as I'm a Mystery Shopper....also peeps might be worth some of you noting September down in your diary, as thats when Tesco will be recruiting for Tesco Home Panel members...you get to try out stuff for them before it goes into the stores( if it's good enough)I've just been trying out new Moisturising soap for them...
FAO of VC....Anadin ...pigsback :rotfl:....Doh! got that at 2'o'clock this morning when I was up getting some painkillers......:T0 -
Also, if anyone knows any coupon friendly stores in Derbyshire/Nottinghamshire I'd be really grateful if you could pm me to save me from another ordeal like tonight!!!!:D x
FERRIKINS
It's my understanding that some Nottingham and Derbyshire stores were the first to stop coupons altogether as their policy was being abused by 1 family blitzing them...4/5 members going in together, going out and then entering again and again...then moving on to another store...think they were using photocopies and altered coupons...
Bully thanks one and all for all their good wishes...I'm def on the mend , but hubby has been up all night with whatever it was that struck me down....I'm off to Mr T's as I want to use some mocs that are expiring tomorrow..don't you hate the end of the month?...mind you it might mean comp WTC's or WEM's....fingers crossed.0 -

You'd get a giftcard (or possibly cash), no probs, in a coupon-friendly store.:D
You'd get the Spanish Inquisition from a huddle of 12 year old Managers grilling you about the coupons on your receipt in a coupon-hating store.:eek:PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Could someone tell me please if there is a Tesco Misprice thread still as picked up 6 bottles of wine for nowt last week but could not find the old thread??
Hiya heskpesk,
There is still a misprices thread to report DTD successes. Search the forums in the box above, for the keywords 'Tesco misprices' (not misprice and not capital M or anything...MSE searches are hit and miss because they are case-specific I believe).
It doesn't help that the misprices thread moved this year from the Grabbit board to the Food & groceries Board so it takes some finding (especially as it's not near the top like it used to be in the good old days of R&R).

That way I know how much each transaction should come to, so I end up paying pennies each time. I am really sorry if people think I am a wind up, as I would have scanned my receipts to prove what I am saying is true, but I don't have a scanner
I do something similar. I keep all my MOCs filed in an A5 display file, which has about 20 clear plastic pockets in it (sadly not all these are currently filled with MOCS ... **DANCE, MM, DANCE!!** ...) and they are filed in expiry date order. I then decant these into envelope-sized coloured plastic wallets (from Poundland, I think they were) marked with either a T for Tesco or a W for Waitrose (some MOCs are only for Waitrose, or scan better in there), and I add a small post-it note to the front of each wallet showing the MOC total so I know how much I have to spend. I carry 3 x T and 2 x W wallets with me at all times, and leave the master file at home.
Every Friday morning I compile and print out a weekly meal plan along with the associated shopping list, which I price up (roughly) and split into several smallish chunks. I can then sashay around the supermarket aisles during the week with my list-for-that-day, practising my mental arithmetic & knowing when to stop shopping as maximum MOC-value-for-money has been reachedMister C J says "blimey, it's like a military campaign". He's not wrong.
I'm lucky as I have five branches of MOC-friendly (to various degrees) Tesco and four branches of very MOC-friendly Waitrose within reasonably easy striking distance so I never need to raise my profile by visiting any of them too regularly. I like to spread myself around0 -

I thought exactly the same as you until I found out years ago that I could do call-forwarding from work onto my mobile...and escape, knowing that I hadn't been caught out. It's nice to be nice .....
