I only did two rounds today, as I was in a hurry. Seven the first time and six the second time around!!

    Are you for real!!!!!!
  • Helpful tip 1: I put one of each coupon into a sandwich bag and then put the value of each bag onto a small piece of paper which I place inside. That way I know how much each transaction should come to, so I end up paying pennies each time. I am really sorry if people think I am a wind up, as I would have scanned my receipts to prove what I am saying is true, but I don't have a scanner

I get a bit shakey when I go to the till to pay for my one load of shopping with my pile of coupons, if I was doing it that many times someone would have to carry me out on a stretcher. :p
  • Its really easy after you've done it a few times. I was a bit nervous at first, but im fine now.

Well if you can get away with it then carry on, and good luck to you, I just know you don't go to the same Mr T's as me (TG).

me too...i get nervous...palpitations...and high bp...al in one go to approach a checkout. and if any coupon doesnt scan and the cashier looks at me questionably thats it i turn pale i guess...mouth goes dry and i keep praying in my mind that this cashier doesnt call a supervisor coz all the teamleaders or supervisors say is a 'no' no matter what.
jeez...but still it is worth all this if i end up paying less than my usual bills.
  • Another thing I do is use a giftcard to pay the pennies. That way im not fumbling around for change, so I get out quicker.

You see that's all I ever have in my purse, change that is and I don't mind the odd fumble in tesco. ;)

can we buy a gift card using coupons...or do we have to use the coupons only for food shopping? cant we buy anything other than food?
i think i should try buying some non foods and see if the coupons work...but i get sooooooo nervous when i reach the checkout...my mind goes numb. :o
